  • Beschreibung: Poor Vera is hired as a secretary of the factory owner Christidis, and when she meets his son Manos, they fall in love with each other. Christidis, however, in order to face the financial problems that are pressuring him, wants to marry his son to Aliki, the daughter of a businessman named Valianos. Manos objects at first, but his cunning mother persuades him that Vera doesn’t deserve his love. When someday he finds out about the plot that had been woven at the expense of his love, he runs to find his love – and is hit by a car. Aliki, who also finds out the truth – plus the fact that she is Vera’s sister, adopted by the Valianos family because they couldn’t have their own children – steps out of Manos’ life for good, while Vera rushes to be at the side of her injured beloved. Everything ends happily.
